Life Goals app for iPhone and iPad

Life Goals was rated 9/10 by Anna Papachristos in her analysis at iPhone App Review (http://bit.ly/N5Iyp0).
In Annas words: "What is great about Life Goals, as opposed to other goal management applications, is the way it provides its users with a pre-designed set up featuring different categories. Many similar apps make it easy for users to enter their goals and set due dates, but Life Goals helps you break things down into categories that some may even overlook as being an area of their life they could improve upon."
Erica Sadun (author of the iPhone Cookbook) also recently reviewed Life Goals and Life Audit on The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW).
Erica described the App as follows: "An enhanced to-do app, Life Goals reorganizes a standard reminders approach around focused categories. As you add and accomplish tasks, your Life Chart updates to show you which areas youre excelling in, and which youre neglecting, through an expanded system of graphs and statistics."
Erica goes on to say: "A lot of thought has gone into its design, to help users prioritize and review task management. If you like visual and statistical goal feedback, this app has it in bunches."

When deselecting "Category Detail" with the corresponding effects on the "Life Goal" tab (progress bars for goals and tasks would disapear for each life goal category) and later selecting it again, the progress bars would not reappear again! Instead the category names and symbols are now randomly mixed up - some of them vanishing completely, some of them appearing twice. Thats only in terms of appearance, though, for once you drill down one level on any of the categories to where the sub goals & tasks are displayed the correct category name is displayed in the header again - according to the originally saved sorting order. These errors are also transfered on to the charts level. All very confusing and annoying!! Please fix it! Disapointing for an app that otherwise appeared quite appealing - on first sight.
The program is difficult to use. When entering a goal, you have to press done before you can enter. I Wanted to like it but too crumblesome. I am switching to the habit favtor
I guess these are my personal issues, but I havent found functionality I needed in this app. The rulers shown on the first screen were deceptive: I thought it show your current progress percent, measured in time or other units I like, and there we have task-manager style: done or not. Nothing like recurrent tasks or task, which need to be repeated several times to be done. I found another program (wont say what exactly here) a bit more suiting my needs. But still, its not perfect.
The idea beyound the application is really great. And the interface looks nice as well. However it has a major flaw in functionality - it does not really support repetitive tasks. How it works at the moment. Say you have a goal "Health" and you want to have a repetitive task "Exercise 3 times a week". You can add the task and even edit it to be repetitive, but it will only repeat in you regular iphone Calendar, but not as a task in Life Goals. Hence by marking it as "completed" once you land with NO tasks under Health at all. Weird... I do hope the author will solve the problem. At the moment it makes the app pretty useless. :(
If you want your life in a better route, this app is not the way.
